A Comfort Station was an outhouse - a place of rest and release. This blog is a place for me to do exactly that: rest my ideas and release conversation.

Day 8
Take Captive Every thought! We can control what our minds do. We don't have to think the thoughts that come into our heads. Time to go to war!
This was a great chapter. Kevin, you could easily make a sermon out of this one. We really do spend our days thinking about all the things the world, and Satan, offer us: more possessions; popularity with our friends, family, co-workers; more or better sex; prestige; and power. How many of us really believe they bring us happiness? All of us! That's why we pursue them.
"Don't accept every thought just because it happens in your head. Yank it out. Take it captive, and analyze it to see if it is of God or not." God, keep this thought in me always, every minute, every hour. -CZ

This one was a really good one, in my opinion. Much needed. (I'm almost caught up with this all, got a wee bit behind on the trip.)
Welcome back Anji. I hope the trip was good.
